A Guide to Honeywell CLSS Fire and Detection Systems

Facility owners face mounting pressure to do more with fewer resources while maintaining a critical role in fire safety efforts. Honeywell Connected Life Safety Services (CLSS) technology is stepping up to the challenge, offering innovative solutions that provide much-needed peace of mind.

What is CLSS?

CLSS is an innovative, all-in-one cloud platform that enables system integrators and facilities managers to deliver an enhanced fire safety and maintenance service, while maximising the performance and uptime offered by Honeywell’s trusted detection and alarm systems.

With CLSS not only will your facility be safer and compliant, but your service provider will also serve you more effectively with less disruption to your busy schedule.

How Does CLSS Work?

CLSS (Connected Life Safety Services) integrates all Honeywell systems across multiple buildings or locations, connecting each panel and device to deliver real-time performance data accessible via desktop and mobile devices. This results in more efficient, safer, and compliant fire alarm system management, ensuring your system is always operating at its best.

CLSS Gateway

The CLSS Gateway can be connected in one of three ways, via Wi-Fi, GSM module or LAN. The Gateway connects to the fire alarm control panel and acts as a bridge between the panel and the CLSS cloud-based platform.

CLSS Mobile App

Technicians use the CLSS mobile app for commissioning, installation, and maintenance. It can be used to perform regular walk tests on both connected and non-connected devices, and the app also facilitates the generation of BS 5839 maintenance certificates.

CLSS Dashboard

Gain a holistic view of all your customers, sites, and buildings via the CLSS Dashboard. See all fire events generated from the panel in one place, giving you full visibility of the condition of your life safety systems.

Receive indisputable compliance, data, and reports, and plan effectively for life cycle and health associated costs, as well as creating and managing your own weekly Call Point test plans to support compliance and ease of use.
