Brentford Football Club is a professional football club in Brentford, West London, England, which competes in the Premier League, the highest tier of English football. Having gained promotion via the playoffs at the end of the 2020–21 Championship season the club had successfully applied for planning permission to create a new temporary training facility at their Jersey Road location.
The project had to be completed on site within a 14 day timeframe. The new training facility, whilst temporary, represented a significant improvement on current facilities and is a stepping-stone towards the Club’s longer-term vision for a state-of-the-art performance centre. Made up of over 80 modules which were precision engineered offsite at the Portakabin manufacturing facility in York, the building has all the necessary facilities the Premier League side will require for both its First and B teams and therefore needed to be protected by the latest intruder alarm technology.
Tecserv was contracted by Portakabin, who are working in partnership with Ardent Sports to create a two-storey building which has contributed 3,200m2 to the Jersey Road training complex and includes dedicated office space, changing rooms and medical treatment rooms. Tecserv installed two [insert manufacturer name] intruder alarm systems to cover the reception building and main modular office block. In total, the systems have 11 control panels and covers over 90 intruder zones.
By assisting on this project Tecserv UK has ensured the new buildings benefit from the latest security technology. The means access is limited and controlled to allow only authorised personnel to enter each area and the valuable equipment and personal belongings inside are protected.
Please note Tecserv UK only operate within the United Kingdom – any work outside of this region cannot be considered.
