The firm has offices on Friar Lane which are predominantly used for client meetings, as well as offices on Maid Marian Way which are used by Partners and staff. The Friar Lane offices were originally constructed in the late 1800’s and are steeped in history on one of Nottingham’s most visited areas near to Nottingham Castle.
The office suites Fraser Brown occupy at Castle Heights on Maid Marian Way span multiple floors.
The main challenge was to ensure the systems protecting both locations were conjoined but could still be monitored and controlled via one single panel, whilst also ensuring the aesthetics of a modern building and those of a historical building were considered. The Castle Heights offices also spanned many floors to which staff would need to be assigned personalised access rights.
When the firm relocated staff to serviced offices on Maid Marian Way, Fraser Brown approached Tecserv UK to install a door entry control system for the floors and offices suites its staff would occupy.
A Paxton Net2 Access Control System was installed which was integrated into the main security systems control panel so that management of fire and security systems was centralised.
The installation of the system and the provision of ongoing maintenance means Fraser Brown has evidence of a robust approach to fire prevention and security risk management. Its building and the security of staff is protected and its HR function has been provided with a means to track absence management and employee time keeping.
Please note Tecserv UK only operate within the United Kingdom – any work outside of this region cannot be considered.
