As an ex-polytechnic it was formally organised as a teaching institution in 1973. In an attempt to create a better experience for its students the university condensed its campuses, in 2013 an estate strategy costing £150 million concentrated the university on the Hendon Campus.
We had to overcome obstacles such as the need to re-organise structures already in place with regards to the system and arrangement. Also, where necessary the fire safety system had to be updated whilst minimising disruption to learning and teaching as we were servicing a fully functioning university campus.
We also provided assistance and guidance in the re-organisation of the fire alarm system management to ensure it is fully understood by all. We ensured each system we used was made from quality products that we can service to optimum levels.
Throughout the servicing contract we have contributed to minimising false alarms significantly per year. Also, the small number of emergency callouts and breakdowns proves that our suppliers and maintenance engineers provide excellent products and service that stand the test of time.
Tecserv UK Ltd have been Middlesex University’s fire-safety systems provider and maintenance contractor for over 7 years, ensuring the systems are fully operational, 100% tested every 12 months. As an organisation we pride ourselves on our ability to build long-term customer relationships. As with many of our clients Middlesex University contacted Tecserv UK Ltd through a referral from one of the university’s senior leadership team who had been greatly satisfied with our service in the past.
Please note Tecserv UK only operate within the United Kingdom – any work outside of this region cannot be considered.
