Being active in the community is an important part of being a local business and employer. So, when the opportunity to sponsor Underwood Villa Ladies Football Club came available we also thought it would be a great way to play our part in ensuring the legacy created by the success of England Ladies winning the European Championship helps to benefit the area around our head offices.
UWLFC is a new team, formed for the 2022/23 season which plays its fixtures at Bracken Park, Underwood in Division 1 of the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies League. It has a dedicated squad of 18 players, with the majority living locally.
Commenting on the sponsorship deal, Team Manager Andrew Eastwood said, “There has never been a better time to become associated with ladies’ football following the success of England Ladies and the upcoming World Cup in 2023 which will be played in Australia and New Zealand. We are delighted to have Tecserv UK on board as a sponsor and look forward to working together to promote and build the female game.”
