The “T” series system consists of a heat sensitive tube made of special plastic which is closed by a stainless steel fitting on each end. The tubes are available in various lengths and volumes of extinguishing agent, making them perfect for installation within IT network cabinets, electrical cabinets and other small spaces.
The tube has both storage and detection function which means that the extinguishing agent is stored directly in the tube and additional cylinders are required to store the HFC agent. The ‘T Series” tube can be simply inserted into the storage cabinet or small space which means installation can be carried out quickly and easily with no training.
The BlazeCut® system operates automatically independent of any power supply by detecting higher temperatures. When the temperature in the protected enclosure rises to a critical threshold, the detection tube melts down at the point where the affecting temperature is the highest. Melting the tube creates a hole releasing the entire extinguishing agent stored in the tube onto the source of the fire.
Automatic activation by detecting increased temperature.
The HFC agent discharges as a liquid, disperses in the form of a gas and leaves no residue after extinguishing which eliminates the clean-up costs.
The HFC agent does not conduct electricity, corrode or cause thermal shock damage and therefore there is no risk of harm or side effects to the protected enclosure.
The HFC agent has also a cooling effect.
The system fits almost any small enclosure.
The system does not require power supply for activation.
